Did Anyone Else Hate The Avatar Movie?
It was under par, but not horrible. the mispronunciations made me mad(i know they 're actually the correct pronunciations, but still) he kicked the kyoshi warriors and suki, none of the characters had a personality(even sokka,which shouldn 't be possibe) and at the end, they had to go and make the movie more kid friendly.i was looking forward to the water-avatar-thing, but no. just a wave. for like 10 seconds. that he doesn 't even use. yeah.yeah,instead of telling zukos story the right way, he just said, hey boy, my dad burned me, now go away (Read answers)

I went to go see avatar the last air binder tuesday and i think it sucked..well it was okay but still they need to get some of their facts stright...katara only had one braid.. in the cartoon series and zukos uncle was suppose to have white hair.. but other than that i guess i really liked it it was waaaay better than the movie grown ups with chris rock (Read answers)

Am I The Only One Who Is Insulted About The Casting Choice For The Avatar Movie?
I know i 'm a little late asking this, but i never got a chance to ask since i haven 't been here for a long time b/ c of school etc. also, believe me- i am one usually very race tempered and slow to draw conclusions, but this is obviously wrong. so here goes: so, katara and sokka are obviously inuit (and sometimes even look darker than the inuit) and aang was obviously asian and the series was based on traditional asian views on nature and the world- right?no one looked at the tv show through a colored lens b/ c that was just how it was, but since someone went and changed something that was perfectly fine to make it more palatable to the supposed "american " audience- then that speaks volumes about the character of the casting director and even about our society if we are willing to sit by and watch as cultures, that are obviously not well represented by these actors, be disregarded and forced to conform to the narrow-minded view of beauty some people have. i mean think about it- would you want a black american to represent george washington in a film- no- it just wouldn 't make sense- b/ c he wasn 't obviously. it has little to do with the race of the actor that is playing these characters, but more about the respect that should be given to the other.i took this personally because i really looked up to the show and it made me smile- i watched it when i was ten and subliminally- it taught me good things about life being precious and everyone being equal. i think this is an insult and a shame.nowhere... what is american? it certainly does not mean white and when you say that the show wasn 't set in asia- obviously not! it was a cartoon... but it definitely wasn 't set in america, if that 's what you are insinuating... What's The Avatar (movie) Song That Has A Man And Woman Crying (beautifully) In It Called?
In the motion picture avatar, when the home tree was getting destroyed and everyone was running away, here were parts where a man and occasionally a woman would be 'crying ' but it sounded like it was part of the song itself, not the na 'vi crying...it had a nice tribal feel to it....but i can 't find it on the actual soundtrack for avatar....anyone know where i can find it? it was incorporated into the song and i thought it was beautiful...thanks! Who Has Seen The New Avatar Movie? Spoiler!?
I hated how they mispronounced all the names, that sokka wasn 't funny, and that aang wasn 't giddy like a little kid. i was also super disappointed that they didn 't make aang into a water demon at the end. plus every time xao was on screen i just thought of his character on the daily show and giggled. i also really wanted the face stealer to be shown, but it wasn 't. kitara didn 't have hair fwoopies.i loved the actors who played aang (especially aang), princess uwe (spelling?), and zuko. i loved appa and momo i think they did the best job they could possibly do on them. the effects were awesome. i loved how they used different martial arts styles for all the different elements which was actually closely based off the show, except it took them longer to do each move. the blue spirit mask looked exactly the same as it did in the show. i also liked how firebenders couldn 't make their own fire, because no other benders can make their own elements... but this kind of makes firebenders the most inferior of all the other elements.what did you like and what did you hate? I mean they 've released the first one, and they almost got the green light to make the 2nd one. this next one will be much darker than the first one, and will lead right into the 3rd avatar movie.i mean they made x-men 1-3 and then surprised everyone with wolverine origins. they 're making a sequel series to avatar; legend of korra. maybe legend of korra will be made into a surprise forth live action movie for avatar.hmm . . . you guys know which avatar i 'm talking about right?no blue people!!!! (dont care if i mispelled his name) it 's just been revealed that he booted the kyoshi warriors, and changed many of the pronuinciations, such as aang sounds like ong. he also changed many of the small details.who cares about correct pronunciation, in the avatar world they are correct, and the kyoshi warriors aren 't that important, only suki is.oh well, at least iroh is still in, that was my favorite characterthey 'rs no way they would leave out azula and toph... azula is the main antagonists(even more that ozai in my opinion) and they can 't just destroy the whole storyline by giving aang a diferent earthbending teacher.
